Lead vocalist; Ahmad Butt of an upcoming young band named Solar Canvas talks to LATC and opens up about its goals and interests. The band of four aim high and promise to deliver their best as passionate artists of today. Solar Canvas have recently performed at JTMUN which was met with critical acclaim and now the team is set to perform on Innovention'15. 

"Our Band isn't limited to one single genre. We have a versatile team which has the quality to experiment and perform Eastern, Western and Eastern Classical songs. Our vision and aims as a band is primarily to use our music as a medium to communicate to the masses. So many bad things go on in our society and often get overlooked. There are issues present that people shut their ears to and pretend they don't exist. We want to have a voice that people listen to. We want our music to speak and unite the people of Pakistan together. I know it's a long way to go. But hopefully if we work hard to achieve our dreams then we as a band, can play our part for the betterment of Pakistan. The meaning of the bands name: A lot of people have asked us that.It's true that our bands name is very unusual for a Pakistani Band. A canvas is basically a sheet on which an artist paints his or her masterpiece. He or she has endless possibilities as to what to do or create. But a Canvas is restricted because it's of a specific size. By Solar Canvas, We mean that the universe is our Canvas. It's Infinite and we, the band members are the artists. Our music is our masterpiece. We aren't bound by any limits or shackles. We are free to do what we want to."
